Implementation of Austroads Technical Specifications

Hello and welcome to our webinar on the implementation of Austroads technical specifications.

We have over seven hundred people registered for today's session.

My name is Anthony Luchini.

I'm a communications officer at Austroads, and I'll be moderating today's session alongside Ross Guppy, who will moderate the Q&A portion after the presentation.

I'd like to start by acknowledging the Treaty of Waitangi and Māori as the original people of New Zealand.

I also acknowledge the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the custodians of the lands from which we are broadcasting today.

Austroads has offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

I'm in Sydney, so today I am on the lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.

I pay my respects to elders past and present and to their deep and ongoing connection to the land.

Austroads is a collective of Australasian transport and traffic agencies.

Our aim is to deliver an improved road transport network for our members.

Today's presenters will speak for around forty-five minutes, then we'll have a Q&A session for fifteen minutes at the end.
