Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to our webinar on the minimum data requirements for pedestrian safety.

I'm a communications officer at Austroads, and I'll be moderating today's session alongside Phil Harbutt, who will moderate the Q&A portion.

I'd like to start by acknowledging the Treaty of Waitangi and Māori as the original people of New Zealand.

I also acknowledge the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the custodians of the lands from which we are broadcasting today.

Austroads is based in Sydney, and so today I am on the lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.

I pay my respects to elders past and present and to their deep and ongoing connection to the land.

Our focus is to deliver an improved road and transport network for our members.

This program is delivered under the Road Safety and Design Program, which is managed by Michael Newstic.

Today's presenters will speak for around thirty-five to forty minutes, and then we'll have a Q&A session for fifteen minutes at the end.

The slides for this webinar and the reports can be downloaded from the handout section of your sidebar, which you will find from the right-hand side of your screen.

A link to access this tool has been provided in the chat bar to the right of your screen.

Throughout this presentation, blue boxes on the slides will show you when you can find further information.

The three acronyms we use are G for guideline, double R for research report, and double S for the spreadsheet tool.

If you have questions for the Q&A, please use the question tab in your sidebar.

If your question relates to any particular slide, include the number of that slide in your message.

But just a quick tip, if you lose sound or your picture freezes, the issue is most likely with your connection.

Closing your browser and rejoining the session via your email registration usually helps.

This session is being recorded, and we'll let you know when the recording is available on our website.
