So, yes, you are Cinderella.

The drowsiness is slowly bleeding away.

You sit up.

Your mouth feels like it has cotton balls in it.

No, scratch that.

There is something in your mouth.

You snap your eyes open and spit, watching a small handful of pearls fall into your lap.

There's a collection of other precious gems: some sapphires, a few emeralds, even a diamond.

You look around.

You're in a large chamber.

Along the edges of the room is a rushing underground river.

Your legs are strapped to a chair by thin cords of rope.

The chamber is circular, the floor divided into sections like numbers on a clock.

In the center, there's a large dais with an even larger ornate throne in the center, surrounded by other empty chairs.

The only exit that you see is a pair of large stone doors carved into the wall behind you.

On either side of the door is a large scaly leg ending in wicked sharp talons.

Thankfully, they appear to be carved in stone.

Unthankfully, you yourself appear to be strapped to a small chair.

Again, leather restraints holding your legs.

Leather cords rope.

Thus.
