My name is Christine Rodriguez, and today we will be discussing the upcoming new moon that's taking place May 16th, 2026, around 3:01 PM Central Standard Time.
As always, before we get started, I like to remind everyone that we are using the Vedic sidereal system of astrology, which is different than the Western tropical system.
The sidereal system of astrology is the astronomical placement of the planets that accounts for the precession of the equinox, which I know is a lot of words, but I do have a podcast on the difference between Western and Vedic astrology.
