My mom is going to design the glass windows of a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart."

Well, it could be a doctoral dissertation, Archie, which I don't have time to deliver here in this forum, but I can give you some basic outlines of the theology of the Sacred Heart, which is near and dear to me.

And anybody who really knows the, the theology behind it and the spirituality around the Sacred Heart, you will find it very endearing as well.

But the miracle, the mystery, the astounding proposal of Christianity is that that love has been manifest, that love has taken embodied form, and that eternal divine mystery of the infinite explosion of blissful, ecstatic, life-giving love that is God, that same love, that same infinite, ecstatic, blissful, life-giving reality-

The divine mystery of love, life-giving love, ecstatic love, communal love, the, the love for which we are all made, if we could enter into our own hearts and discover at the very base of our inmost being the yearning that we all know and feel to love and be loved, we would discover that which in our hearts corresponds perfectly like two puzzle pieces to the mystery of the Sacred Heart.

The mystery of the Sacred Heart, I'll say it again, is the manifesting in f- the flesh, in a beating human heart of the divine love that brought the universe and every human being into existence.

The love behind everything, the love that is the Big Bang, the love that is our creation and our redemption-

... has a heart, a beating human heart, and that heart, to show its love, to express, think of that word express, to press out, express, so that it could be manifested, so that it can reach from heaven into our hearts, that human heart was pierced, pierced by a sword so that the love within it could be poured out, poured out for all of humanity.
