Ella, do you ever feel like you become a little bit of a therapist when you're in the treatment room?
I mean, I could tell you a story right now, and it, it's interesting because you- you're there for them, right? The clients are coming to you.
So as far as being a therapist, but also absorbing some of the emotional part of the clients.
In a text message, she sends me this long thing and says, long story short, her husband has a glioblastoma, which is a brain tumor.
I felt bad for a lot of reasons, but especially because it made me empathize with the daughter, because that's her father, and, you know, my mom has now is diagnosed as Alzheimer.
And it made me empathize with the mom because, you know, the, an imminent loss of her husband, and, uh, my husband and I are very close.
And I had to be super grateful that she told me, but also one of the things that was most interesting about that time, because it was a stretch of months that they had to really drop everything and care for their father and husband, but they still made their appointments with me.
And inevitably, you talk about what's going on in your life, and this was their life.
