Not much is known about Skids O'Toole, not even his first name.
Besides a shakedown in a short story and some information on the back of his player card, we really don't know much about the investigator Skids.
Even in the Devourer Below anthology, we get nothing from him.
Finn Edwards makes a cameo, not Skids.
I have a theory about this.
See, characters in the Devourer Below anthology are pretty careful not to tread into other stories.
In other words, we get something from Wendy in one of the stories, but Wendy isn't mentioned in any of the others.
It's the same with all the investigators and all the unique cultists in The Night of the Zealot, with two exceptions.
One is Skids, and one is Victoria Devereaux.
What's odd is we get analogs for these characters.
Finn Edwards isn't that far off of Skids, and he makes an appearance in one of the stories.
And an entirely new cultist is fabricated for the Ruth Turner story.
Which makes me think, perhaps, that Skids and Victoria were meant for a story together, one that never saw the light of day.
This is, of course, baseless speculation.
Because we have so little to go on, we should probably focus on Skids O'Toole, the LCG investigator.
