Jordan Ranaan, New York Giants insider

What's up, guys? How you doing?

Pretty good.

I, I think if I had to identify the one team in the NFL that went from being the highest of the high after week one to what's gone on since week one, the New York Giants would be the pick.

Yet they're two and one.

What is the overall confidence level of, of this team? Do you feel going into this game that they could beat the, uh, the Cardinals on Sunday?

I think it's teetering a little bit.

I think they're, they're basically trying to convince themselves that, "No, no, we are a good team.

We're still a good team." But the reality is they lost their starting quarterback in Jackson Dart for the season.

They lost their best defensive player in Brian Burns-

Mm-hmm

... for the season.

And now they're trying to, you know, redevelop their identity.

Like, what is that? Especially offensively.

Uh, and Jameis Winston, you have to be honest, he did enough to win the game the other day, but at the same time, he struggled.

His QBR is 22.9, uh, so far this year.

Uh, i- it's a small sample size, sure, but that is the lowest of any quarterback in the NFL.

He hasn't thrown the ball accurately.

Their offense is not the same.

They lose the running element with Jackson Dart.

So this Giants team is, I think, trying to find out, "Okay, who are we gonna be now with the limitations that we have?"
