244 - Pregaming Reality Fracture

All right, we have some magic news.

Reality Factor is coming out next week on Arena.

Super exciting.

The early access event was today, on the day that we're recording.

However, Jeff, this time around, I did not participate in the early access event.

So you cannot get mad at me about my picks or anything I'm talking about, trying to say that I'm cheating or whatever, okay?

I'll find a way.

All right.

Well, anyway, I really wanted to be part of the early access, but I couldn't because I was doing something a little bit more exciting.

But you'll have to go to our Discord to figure out what that was.

Anyway, something else in the magic news that this is pretty big.

I mean, WotC is kind of trying to sweep it under the rug like a little bit.

But the Star Trek beginner boxes ran into some logistical, production and shipping issues.

Which resulted in WotC just completely axing the entire product.

Like, you know what? This is getting too complicated.

Like, something happened.

Like, we know how much Hasbro and WotC loves products and new cards.

And often there's, like, delays.

Almost every set there's, like, a new delay to some region, right? It's like, oh, they're not going to get this thing in time.

There's something we even had talked about with people in the States that were not getting booster boxes that they needed.

There's just a lot of issues with that stuff.

But WotC is just saying, hey, actually, no, we're just not going to do this at all.

We're just canceling this product.

Now, I don't know how many people were super excited about the beginner boxes for Star Trek.

Yeah.
