Yeah, Karen Hart's Women and Children's Home is a nonprofit organization serving women and their children throughout the Fox Cities and surrounding communities.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between emergency shelter and permanent housing by providing trauma-informed transitional housing and support for women and their children.

We are committed to walking alongside families with compassion, hope, and practical resources so they can heal, rebuild, and thrive.

Not just survive, our vision is to provide not only safe housing, but also to support education, life skills, and community every family needs to build a stable, healthy, and independent future.

We officially became a nonprofit earlier this year, but the work has begun three years ago, starting with our woman-to-woman support group, which Laniece will share more about that.

So who do we serve? We serve women that's experienced homelessness, domestic violence, recovery, or other life challenges, along with mothers and their children.

We also provide support through resources, through our community partners, and I will give that over to Lanise and Larissa to share more.

We definitely seek to build relationships with the other nonprofits here in the area that kind of really share the vision of, not necessarily our vision, but the vision of serving others and helping to support and to build mothers, families, children, youth, and in doing so, We have our events where we're giving back to the community at this time.

As we're a newer nonprofit, we're forming relationships here in town where we can collaborate and we can learn.

We're just building ourselves up so when we are fully in go mode, we're ready.

We do have some upcoming events that are taking place that we would love for everyone to please support us and join us if you can.

Coming up in just this month in July, you know, July 18th, we're going to have a big community event.

We're going to have some self-care activities, and we're going to be giving out some things of self-care.

We got giveaways, and we're going to be providing other communities resources.

We'll be partnering with one of our biggest community partners, People of Progression.

So that event will be, again, July 18th, 3 p.m., And it's going to be in Menasha at 333 First Street at the People of Progression location.

We also have another event coming up in October that is Healing Her Through Dinner.
