Ep205: September's Worst Week Starts now

Looking at the seasonality, this is the Stock Traders' Almanac.

Jeff Hirsch and the team there at Almanac, Stock Traders Almanac, again put all this data together.

So again, this is all kudos to you.

So what we can see here is the expiration triple witching wrapped up on Friday.

And the Almanac has a reminder about what usually follows.

So the week immediately after September's quarterly expiration has historically been one of the weakest stretches of the month.

Then we've got that seasonality that I've been banging on about for weeks in September, October anyway.

Plus there's the mid-term seasonality is usually weaker than, you know, other Septembers anyway.

So we've got a lot of seasonal data just to say, you know, maybe we're going to see a little bit of a downtick in the markets.

And that's really all we can do.

So at the moment, the market's going up.

I've got to be bullish on the setups there and I will trade those short term setups long or short.

It's just I'm just waiting for that pop in price.

I think that this is going to be the 10 percent in 10 days.

And that's my opinion.

The data and the charts are still saying it's going up for the moment.
