A2ZERO Update 10/21/26

And so this Friday, we're going to learn about trees.

Yeah.

And I feel like I know some basics about trees, but every time...

I participate in something like this.

I feel like I learn more.

Like I feel like trees are simple things on paper.

No pun intended.

No pun intended.

But, yeah, they're very complicated.

So what is happening this Friday?

Yeah, so we have a very new exciting initiative called A20 Tree Education Series.

Yeah.

So this one will be the threats to trees and fall colors.

So this Friday at the Leslie Science and Nature Center in the Energy House, we will be focused on various threats that our trees face in Ann Arbor.

So it's a workshop where you learn more about the impacts of climate change, diseases, impacts that

us

as people have, and more about our trees.

And then if the weather permits, we will have a guided walk showcasing the beautiful fall colors of Leslie Park.

Isn't that wonderful? Again, I just feel like I learned so many things about trees every time I dip into one of these things.

The water goes up the trees between the bark and the wood of the tree, which is something I didn't realize until like four years ago or something like that.

I was like, ah, it just sucks up the water through all the things.

But you're going to learn little stuff like this.

And I'm sorry.

I'm thinking all about myself in these trees.

What time and where is it again?
