Amber ReaHost
So on August 7th, 2026, the U.S. government on behalf of the FDA sued Arrow Reliance, which is the company behind Darwin's.

and its owner, Gary Tasijian, sorry about the pronunciation, the government is asking a federal court for a permanent injunction, which is an order that would stop Darwin's from manufacturing and distributing pet food until it fixes its sanitation practices and complies with federal food safety laws.

So Darwin's isn't being banned, but it's, it's being asked to cease and desist basically.

And this is the United States government suing a pet food manufacturer under the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act.

So quick disclaimer here, I'm only gonna say this one time, this is a civil complaint.

Everything I'm about to talk to you about and walk you through is what the government alleges and what the FDA has documented.
