Pool House - Foreign Films

Hey, one, one thing I wanna be doing on Almost Radio, um, this season, I'm sort of breaking it up into seasons, but I wanna get to the bottom of what people think is the best touring vehicle in their opinion.

And I know there's a lot of driving when you're touring in New Zealand, and I feel like, uh, y- the Poolhouse would have spent a lot of time in cars.

What do you think are some of the front runners for, uh, touring vehicles and why?

We-- I think we've got this pretty down pat, to be honest with you.

Um, so we have Flynn, our drummer's Ford, uh, what is it? A Ford, Ford Ranger, and it fits everything we need to do a self-sufficient show, like absolutely perfectly in the back.

An enclosed cab, so none it, yeah.

And so, and then we have, you know...

So it's a bigger car, so we can all fit pretty comfortably in the actual vehicle.

And I think you don't get, you don't get hit with those van prices.

Oh, yeah.

Like when you're touring around in a Transit or something like that, and the fuel's super expensive and rental is very ex- expensive as well.

Um, so I think we've found that like perfect middle, middle ground between being big enough and then being like efficient and like easy to park and those kinds of things, so yeah.

I have spent so much time in that car.

[laughs]

So much time in that car.

How many hours?

He's had it the whole time.

How many hours do you reckon?

Oh.

I would hate to know.

I rec- I reckon we've mastered being hungover in Flynn's car.

[laughs]

We've done our 10,000 hours.

Yeah, we've done the 10,000.

100%.
