You know, I don't wanna, I guess, I mean, I don't mind talking about it at all because realistically, I think it's something good to bring up because it's kind of funny, right? Like, I don't like beating a dead horse.
I've actually used that term with you a lot recently because I don't like continuously bringing it up.
But you know, I was even talking to somebody today and they were like, "Dude, you were gone for a long time." It was, uh, someone from the lab.
You know, I, I work in the lab pretty consistently at work and they were like, "Man, you were gone for a long time.
Like, w- were you on vacation or what?" And I was like, "Well, yes and no." Um, so basically I think it was on the 14th.
Wasn't it on the 14th? Thursday the 14th? I believe it was May the 14th, um, on Thursday.
So I guess let's, let's rewind a couple of weeks before the May the 14th.
So I, we were doing some yard work in the backyard and, um, you know what I mean? The, the, I mean, the grass wasn't high or anything, but like we were doing yard work and, you know, of course grass gets all over you and stuff.
And um, we're not exactly positive it h- if it happened that day, but after that yard work...
And now this is, this is, I'm kind of telling this story in a weird, in a weird way because we didn't really think anything about this for a very long time, right? But we were doing some yard work in the back.
Um, I was weed eating.
I think Sabrina was pushing the mower.
We typically, always one of us is doing like one or the other, right? And uh, we believe that day I got bit by something on my arm.
And um, we, you know, again, just kind of like kept working, kept doing our thing.
The next day or within the next couple of days for sure, I was like, "Man, something's on my arm." And I kind of, you know, went to go feel it or whatever and I was like, "Dude, I have like a, it's swollen.
It's huge." And I would say maybe about the size...
Okay, I'm talking about like the actual circumference, about the size of a baseball and i- it was not like as big as a baseball, but I would say about like the circumference of a baseball, maybe a little bit, maybe a tennis ball.
Tennis ball is probably a little better.
And then, um, you know, I would say it was raised a couple of centimeters and it was hard and it was hot, right? Like on my arm it was, it was obviously swollen, it was hard, and it was hot.
And um, you know, it didn't hurt, so I was just kinda like, "Well, that's funky." We didn't really think anything of it.
We just kinda kept going about our day doing whatever, whatever.
Now think about it like this.
For the longest time we're not really thinking about this, you know? Like we're not, you know, it's something that happened.
It is what it is.
Well, couple of days after that I did, I kinda started feeling sick and um, you know, I had started having fevers.
You know, I don't wanna, I guess, I mean, I don't mind talking about it at all because realistically, I think it's something good to bring up because it's kind of funny, right? Like, I don't like beating a dead horse.
