Uh, it's, it's most definitely not me and it's not him, but you know, uh, obviously we'll just start it off real quick with Rio Valley Meats, Fred Robles, the brisket king of the world, one of the best in the world, and myself, a YouTuber.
But, you know, um, first and foremost I will say that, uh, I feel extremely humbled that he would even call and ask, you know, for us to be a part of this.
Um, you know, it, it, uh, says a lot to me because, like, I am very good friends with Fred.
We'll talk to each other the whole way home and just how did things go? Were they good? Were they bad? Uh, he's 100% the hottest cook in Texas right now, I would say.
Uh, him, Bobby Boom are both doing really well as well, but Fred is kinda sort of, you know, he's on another level right now.
He had three GCs in a row and then an RGC after that, so he's definitely somebody that you want to learn competition barbecue from.
And when we originally had this conversation it was kinda like, you know, I talked to him and I talked to Bill about it because they're two of my good friends that I've met through competition barbecue.
And, you know, I, I kinda had the question, like, man, are, are people actually gonna want to sit there and learn from me, right? That's just, I'm just being honest, I'm being vulnerable.
You know, at, at any given weekend we can go out there and we can win against anybody.
And, you know, if they feel that, they reminded me that other people feel that as well.
And we don't compete as much as we normally used to in the past, but, like I've said recently, we are dedicating ourselves back into, you know, competition barbecue at least once a month, staying up to, um, staying up to par with everything.
