So everyone on that day will be gathered with the people that are like them.

And that's why you have to think who will you be raised with Yawm al-Qiyamah? Who's gonna be with you Yawm al-Qiyamah? These details that Allah gives of the Day of Resurrection form a description that will shake people to the core.

Extreme hardship, fear.

This should motivate people of understanding to prepare for that day and to keep them away from anything that would make them blameworthy on that day.

And then he brings some of the statement of the Salaf who used to say that whoever wants to look at Yawm al-Qiyamah, let him think about إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ.

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا.

Do you think we've created you as a joke? This world is not a joke.

The evil in this world is for a reason.

Whether you know it or you don't, it's not required for you to know it.

Because you and me, we are slaves.

And the slave doesn't have to know the plan of the master.

How about the slave with his Lord? You don't have to know everything.

But you do have to believe that everything Allah decrees is just and everything is wise.

But not everything does Allah love.

Allah doesn't love Iblis.

But there is a wisdom and a benefit in Iblis existing.

It's not just for a joke, just for a game.

No, there's a reason and a wisdom for it.

وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ.

Al-Ishar is the she-camel that is pregnant in the tenth month of its pregnancy.

The Qur'an, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala addresses the Arabs with what they knew.

He doesn't address them with cars and planes.

What did the pregnant she-camel mean? They would even prefer it over their children.

If they had a choice to feed this camel or feed the child, they would feed the camel and let the child go hungry.

They don't let it go from their sight.

وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ.

They're left abandoned.

The Arabs couldn't understand it.

Nobody abandons their camel like that.

It was a profound thing for them.
