Is Grok Bot Worth The Hype? (Watch Before Using)

So do you mind like screen sharing your Grok bot setup if you had it ready to go here?

This is the Grok bot app.

I'm on a Mac device.

So basically what you get are your bots on the side and then you have a chat.

And then of course there's gotta be another sidebar.

Right now I'm in a group chat.

So when I said it's like Slack, but for your AI teammates, this is what I mean.

And I think one of the most valuable parts of this My bots have a meeting called an all hands.

And every morning while I'm getting up or working out or whatever, basically you can see this purple bot is chief of staff, is conversing with these other bots that are projects that I run.

And it's basically having a stand up, just like if you've worked at a company, they might say, hey, when we first log in for 20 minutes, everybody check priorities and report on what you got done or what you're working on.

These are AI agents doing that in a group chat.

But the best part there's no message from me.

So I'm not like, hey, you guys need to meet, or hey, what are you working on in this project? This bot runs the meeting with this other bot.

So it sounds kind of abstract, but the thing that Grokbot does really uniquely is...

You could do this with codex threads, but they don't talk to each other in the same plane or window.

You could do this with cloud code.

It can look across different threads you have running, but it doesn't put it into a chat interface where you can go at and then mention one of them and say, ask.

So I was going to say that, too.

Again, you mentioned Slack.

This reminds me a lot of Slack or Telegram.

Is this something you could integrate with Slack or is this just a whole separate deal?

You can, but what's interesting is you can't bring other humans into your Grok bot.

So you can't say Ryan is on the sidebar and Aaron is on the sidebar and we work together.

But what you can do is you can give it a plugin and give one of your bots, let's say your chief of staff, access to post in Slack for you or as you.

Basically, you can give it the connector.
