FIVEAA Afternoons with Stacey Lee - 25 June 2026

Good afternoon.

Welcome to the second hour of the afternoon's program.

After 2.30, Shane A. Bassett will be along.

He is the movie analyst.

He watches all the new movies and TV shows that you can stream at home, and he has his reviews and recommendations.

But as always, I appreciate yours as well.

In fact, you've given me some great recommendations lately, so get on the phone.

Let me know what you're watching.

8223 0000 is the number to call, or you can text it through on 044808 1395.

Con on the text line, Conan McGill, he's our World Cup correspondent.

I'm going to call you that, Con.

I think he messages in every day about the World Cup.

I love to read your messages, Con.

Thank you.

He says, are you sure you can't lobby the Education Minister, Lucy Hood, to order all schools to give kids a two-hour lunch tomorrow to watch their country play in the World Cup.

Yep.

I wish, Con.

How good would that be? I'll be here at work.

I'll be watching while I'm at work.

But I'm keen to hear from you today.

Are you chucking a sickie? We're happy to change your name if you don't want to come

on the radio and use your real name.

Is anyone planning on chucking a sickie tomorrow so they can watch the Socceroos play? Or have employers cottoned on to this? Have they worked out? If they don't let their staff watch the game, they probably won't come to work.

I know we'll have it on here.

I mean, we're a pretty lucky office.
