Tickets to my live show in Lagos are on sale for N5,000 https://friends.16by16.co/event/love-and-shege-radio-live-2026-10-10…
Now, let me tell you a little bit about this show because it's really interesting.
So for a couple of months this year, I did this radio show at 16.
And I think I'm going to share a little bit about that story at my live show.
Not all bad experiences, by the way, because I'm never going to lie.
I really don't like how Black love, African love, is presented in media there's a lot of trauma and a lot of heartbreak and I know heartbreak is part of the game that's true but sometimes that trauma I don't like it because it makes it feel like we are not deserving of softness we're not deserving of true love we're not deserving of protection especially how Black and African women are written in shows, in movies, and even sometimes in books.
So what I do, instead of just focusing on the heartbreak or the pain or whatever the case may be, I like to talk about the fun I had with these guys, even if at the end, some of them did end up breaking my heart.
Shake is a Nigerian slang that just basically means somebody just putting you through the ringer, okay? I think a synonymous slang that a lot of people might understand is being put through the ringer, right? It's just like generally a bad experience, like, ah, That person showed me Shage, which means that they just, they put me through it.
They put me through hell.
Okay.
So this means that at my live storytelling show, I'm not just going to talk about sex.
I'm just going to make it spicy.
It's not just going to be about the kinks I explored.
I'm also going to talk a little bit about the shaggy I've experienced with some of the guys I've dated.
