I haven't really watched a lot of Dukes of Hazzard in my life, but we were living in a monoculture, so it was just inescapable for a time.
That one I was aware of and I watched like I watched, but I wasn't like a loyalist by any stretch.
I was also aware of the TV show, and I did see it occasionally, but it wasn't part of my routine.
If I happened to be home, I think it was on Fridays, maybe, I might have caught it, but I didn't care very much.

I think I found out about this episode on a big list of Christmas Carol adaptations and I put it on my to do list.

What I do know about the Duke Saturday morning cartoon was that normally it was almost like wacky races where they're racing around the world for some prize money that will keep the family farm afloat.

This was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon that ran on Saturday mornings, overlapping the original show's fifth and sixth season.
