Frosty Returns

Yeah, I had no memory of seeing this even advertised when I was a kid.

I only remember starting to see it as a young adult.

But it looked like an old Charlie Brown special because this was produced by Bill Melendez.

If Charlie Brown was drawn by a five-year-old.

Yeah.

Later, Bill Melendez.

And it also has Lorne Michaels listed as executive producer.

This is his fault, too.

Yeah,

I. OK, so when I watched it last night and I watched the whole thing and I got to the end credits and his name is the first one that comes up.

The amount of expletives that came from my mouth as I realized he was in charge of this.

It was so out of left field.

I did not expect to see Lorne Michaels' name there.

And you know what? Maybe Mike Myers was onto something and he really is Dr.

Evil.

There are two SNL cast members in this and a former SNL host and an SCTV star.

Yeah.

I know we're going to get to that, but like, since you just brought it up, that's the thing I think that upsets me the most is with this cast, this should not be this bad.

This cast is amazing.

If you look at the voice cast and what they grew up to do, this cast is amazing.

And the fact that this is what they gave them to work with is

a sin against God.

Well, and I'll talk about one of the writers coming up in a bit.

But first, let me clarify.

This is not a Rankin-Bass joint.
