It's so funny that you witnessed this today, because I, in my pile of stories, was reading one about a Uber rider who was a bit miffed that the driver asked to stop for 20 minutes to charge their Tesla.

She got worried because they m- drove past an exit that they were supposed to take, and she's like, "Where are we going?" And he said, "Oh, I just need to find a parking garage or parking lot with, uh, chargers-
