I don't know if you relate to this at all or have seen this in other people, but so many of us have like, quote unquote, done the work.

And so I'm wondering, is there something that you're really like enjoying in your life right now that you wouldn't mind sharing with us?

There's so many things, but to be honest, I have a dog and when I walk my dog, I purposefully do not use headphones or listen to podcasts.

During that 30 minute walk, I am literally just self-reflecting and taking in life and processing my feelings and my thoughts because I'm a therapist and so I spend most of my time listening.

And when I walk my dog, it's just a reminder that I get to be present and I get to experience all that is happening around me.

So as I watch my dog sniff and enjoy the grass and bark at squirrels and just do all the things that he does, it's an opportunity for me to be more present with the world around me.

And finally just say, OK, what are you feeling today? What are you thinking today? What do you want right now? And that is such a joyous moment for me because I get to do that every single day.

And I'm so intentional with that time where I won't even take phone calls while I'm walking my dog because it's just for me.

It's a moment for me to just take in life and sit with all the things that I'm carrying, all the thoughts I'm carrying.

So I'll walk my dog on the boardwalk and I can just hear the sound of the waves and see people riding their bikes.

I think sometimes our problems cause us to go inward and we don't really pay attention to how life is literally just... surrounding us but sometimes passing us by so when i'm walking my dog i can literally see the child riding their bike the person on their scooter the person who's just walking with their dog and it allows me to really just sit with my feelings and my emotions and i do think being intentional with that is so important because like you said we can do all the things We can check the boxes, go to all the meditation classes, do all the yoga, do all of those things.
