But how do you begin celebrating Penny's arrival while grieving Bella at the same time? How do you even start to process that experience?

think that's a really important thing because... especially as the parent of a surviving twin, when you've got one of your children there, that's the most wonderful thing in the world.

You know, people say, you know, the day their children were born was the happiest day of their lives.

Well, I often ask myself, What would I say is the happiest day of my life? And, you know, obviously our wedding day up until that point was always there.

And I think now, you know, is it still my wedding day? Because that was pure happiness.

We got our girls and Penny is with us and is thriving and we've got to celebrate that.

Because, I mean, I remember in those kind of first few weeks, any time I even smiled, let alone laugh, I'd stop myself.

But people who've not gone through it might hear the word grief and think, well, that's just permanent depression.
