"I'm curious about whether you love the act of writing itself or whether it's telling the story that's most important.
I love writing as a technical process and an act of rhetorical persuasion, but that's possibly because I write popular nonfiction.
"However, I've recently realized that even if you write nonfiction, you can't ignore the story aspect," agree, "and the narrative arc required.
"I think that regardless of whether you write novels, memoirs, or nonfiction, both the technical and story aspects are important, so it would be interesting to hear more about that." Okay.
Um, so okay, I think the question is, are we more interested in the creative act of writing or the art of storytelling?
Yeah, I was kind of thinking of it like, do you really love making the, the hook and then the outline and coming up with the beginning, middle, end, that whole thing, or do you like crafting the sentences-
