Bourke Warriors

We've seen teams before who've been heavily stacked, all the big names, and bow out quick.

And bow out quick, yeah.

Because they expect someone else to do it.

We're going to be able to win this easy.

Yeah.

And then you get spooked because a penalty's happened and you've been scored against and it's 7-0 and you've got to chase.

Well, that's pretty much what happened in our Blacktown game, you know? Yeah.

And, like, on paper, you look at both sides and you think, far out.

Yeah.

But then you don't, you know? And same thing would happen to us in Blacktown.

I feel they, you know, just, like, really prepared for it, you know? Whereas last year, sort of, our preparation on a Friday...

We got the training and the ball was flat and then we couldn't do much.

And two boys were still running late.

This year, I'll make sure everybody's here earlier.

What style do you play? Because obviously you're predominantly 13s with your knockout team.

But when someone kicks the ball off to Burke, do you have sets? Or

did you last year? We did last year.

Because we still had Walshie too.

Luke, he pretty much got the sets in his head.

He knows the nine format as well.

But, and we didn't even have him against FTA as well, and Zach Montgomery.

Yeah.

Like, so a couple of those boys didn't come back this Saturday due to, like, just reasons, you know.

But I feel if they come back, we'll probably win those other games.

Just our format, like, I think we just got to play pace, you know? Play pace and if we can just get a quick roll out of dummy half.
