To the ancestors of the north, please help us to leave a legacy of healing for all peoples and our children's children's children.

Panchamala, Mother Earth, thank you for your lakes and rivers, streams and oceans, your forests and jungles, your mountains and snowcaps.

Thank you for the grains, the beans, the fruits and the vegetables, and the sacred cows that give us milk and ghee and yogurt and all that wonderful stuff.

Thank you for the two-legged, four-legged, multi-legged, winged and finned, all sentient beings.
