We were all set to bring you a deep dive into the amazing play of two of our own at Tacoma. Adrian and julian took the Freeblade GOAT list and went 7 and 1, and 6 and 1 respectively. Then, just before…

But you weren't tempted to drop Warglaive or maybe make some changes, save some points somewhere and, and include some?
Um, so that, that's like two parts.
One, right, it's the same list.
I'm used to playing it.
And then the second is I think that the more knights you're using, the more utility you're getting out of playing the army and using that detachment, right? Um, and the...
It was funny, I was running that dual Warglaive list similar to Julian at my previous event, and something that I found was absolutely massive going into all of my games was holding your home.
And I think a lot of people think that, you know, playing knights purge, it doesn't matter, but it often matters so much to your opponent's game plan that-
... you cannot leave it.
And the Helverin is something that I felt comfortable leaving there, and then it also had the ability to, you know, drop s- uh, drop shots.
Um, I think this was probably the first event, and I remember it suppressed for the first time.
Um, and yeah.
But I do think, and I think this will probably go into as we talk about list revisions later, is that I've realized that infantry are super powerful.
Uh, the hidden is absolutely incredible.
Um, and I think, you know, maybe when we talk about list revisions, I'll talk about some ideas that I have.

So, well, I, you know, the big thing we, we wanted to discuss when we all first set this up was Tacoma, and we were gonna talk about all the match ups and how it all went.

Do you guys feel that that's still worth looking at? Because with all the, with all the changes, uh, you know, with the big change to priority assets, Adrian, do you think the list is gonna play the same way essentially, or is it really gonna change the way you think about everything right from the list building point of view?
So I think this is one of my things that I was discussing with some of my friends who I met at the Open, is that it is so easy to score points in 11th that you either...
I think there was, at one point, there was like a 100/100 tie-
... uh, in one of the brackets, right? Um, and it is so easy to score points in the way that, um, you can put your secondaries off until turns three, four, five, which is often what I do, like playing purge.
Um, or it's so easy for your opponent to score points, right? Um, and if you look at a lot of my match ups and scores, right, there's a huge point differential.
And it wasn't that I wasn't necessarily playing my mission, I was looking at my opponent's mission, and I focused a lot of my game, I would s- put, put the first five minutes of, um, looking at deployment, looking at my opponent's primary and saying, "How do I deny them-" primary
