05 – How the 3DS Improved My Mental Health (and How I Feel it Can Improve Yours Too)

So I might jump around 3ds like the one I'm holding in my hand right now.

My lovely galaxy new 3ds Excel, which I love so much.

All my pride and joys.

This is a focus device and like a smartphone or a tablet or a computer or a laptop or whatever.

This is a device basically meant for one thing gaming and you could play.

There's some other things on here.

You could do, you could have some social socialized stuff and whatnot.

Yeah, I know.

But the majority of what this device that I'm holding in my hand is meant to be used for is gaming.

And I think because of that focus and because of that intent, and I'll talk about intent in a minute, I think this device can really help clear up the brain a bit.

And I'll talk about that also.

Because of the focus, because there's no Facebook notifications, there's no social media, and let's be honest, social media is kind of evil.

I'll talk about that too.

Okay.

What if you guys could hear that siren in the background? I hope not.

It doesn't look like it, but if you can, I apologize.

It was loud.

Um, so it's a focus device that doesn't have social media, doesn't have news updates.

I mean, it does have some of that stuff, but with the, with the friend list and whatnot, but, oh man, I hope you guys can't hear that.

I'm sorry, but 90 some percent of this, I would say 95% of this device is intent on playing games.

And that is kind of refreshing compared to, and I love my phone.

I have a Samsung S25 Ultra that I got here and I love it.

It's a great phone.

It's a wonderful phone.

It does everything I need.
