Hello, hello, hello.
As per usual, we'll talk about the 3d aspect first.
Now I gotta say it's a pretty solid 3d experience.
Um, it's not the best 3d you're going to get, but it's pretty decent considering how much of the movie is shot in darkly lit scenes.
And the cinematography is kind of ugly.
So I was still kind of surprised.
There's a lot of cool pop out S aspects with a laser beam slash heat vision.
There's a couple moments with Lobo and he has like this chain hook weapon that he swings around and that pops out.
Pretty nice.
Um, There's a couple times where there's a character in a vent, or they're dangling over a rope, and then the depth there is added because of the 3D.
It's nice.
It's good.
There's some nice outer space moments where you get some layering.
It works.
Now, there's one wow moment that really got me.
It's when Crypto...
It's with Crypto.
I don't want to spoil the scene, but He basically is like jumping out to the audience.
And that worked really well.
The only kryptonite of the movie, of the 3D aspect of the movie specifically, is that, like I said before, it's ugly.
It's a very poor dynamic color range.
And the cinematography works against the 3D instead of enhancing it.
A lot of darkly lit environments.
It just, it would look better if it was brighter.
