Cars 20th Anniversary 3D Movie Review

So how was the 3D aspect of Cars, Disney Pixar's?

Surprisingly pretty good, but it still has the Pixar-isms where there's not a lot of pop-outs, but, you know, everything else, it's really high quality about it.

For everyone listening, I did not watch Cars in 3D, and I have no interest in watching this again, so I'm going to leave it at that.

So, okay, seeing this really worked well for the depth.

I mean, like, any scene, really, like, the death was really wonderful, but it really got amazing whenever it got to Radiator Springs.

Like, just seeing the desert vistas, you know, it was just, oh, beautiful.

I imagine the car race scene might be good, right? Or no?

Yeah, but I was expecting a little more.

I think it's because where it's a little bit more... you know faster fastly edited there you know it just it's hard to kind of concentrate on certain scenes but like on flyovers and you know kind of like crowd scenes they look really good

okay uh so is this the first time you've seen it in 3d or did you own the disc

I own the disc, which is quite rare nowadays, but I didn't watch it in 3D because I'm like, man, I really don't want to watch cars again for a while.

Okay, fair enough.

So I just head on to it.

Okay.

Do you know if this 3D is better or equal to the same as before, or is it like a new transfer kind of thing? Based on

research... which is consisting of a single Google search, it said that it's the same transfer from the Blu-ray release.

Okay.

Alright.

Which

is now a rare release, so you're not going to find that in stores.

Well, I mean, honestly, it's kind of rare to find any movies at stores right now.

Yeah, yeah.

I was joking with my wife the other day.

It's like, oh, we're at Walmart.

I mean, not that I really wanted to go to Walmart, but either here or there.
