New Monrovia parcel at 5703 SE 47th Avenue which was acquired through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program, through the County’s contracted auction process for development as affordable housing by licensed contractors, nonprofit housing organizations, community land trusts, qualified entities, or individuals committed to developing affordable housing. The peak of hurricane season occurs between mid-August and late October when the waters in the Atlantic and the Gulf have warmed enough to help support the development of tropical waves. Now is the time to be prepared! Using textures and sounds, the session brings the story to life, guiding children's sensory development while nurturing their language skills, memory, and creativity. Young children can connect with the stories in a hands-on way. All adults are encouraged to participate with their children in this fun early literacy activity.
