Zodiac Man

I'm sure most of you know what we do around here, but in case you're new, basically what we do is do a deconstruction of the Bible using the holy sciences.

And what do I mean by the holy sciences? That includes everything from Kabbalah to Gematria to the Zodiac and the Zodiac Man, which will be the next slide.

This is, of course, the seven classic liberal arts.

It's arithmetic, music, numbers, you know, geometry, or excuse me, arithmetic, music, cosmology, geometry, grammar, rhetoric, logic.

So we look at number symbolism, we look at etymology, we look at, uh, you know, wordplay, that sort of stuff.

And so that's, we'll be using today.

If you are not familiar with the Zodiac man and the Zodiac itself, what we, you know, the wheel of the wheel of the elements, if you will.

If you're not familiar with this and how it works and how we look at it with the seven planets and things like that, it's kind of a necessity to know in order to really grasp any of this stuff.

In addition to medical tools, they were expected to learn how to use an astrolabe.

Another handy tool in medieval medicine was an illustration known as the Zodiac Man.

This diagram showed a man's body and the zodiac signs that ruled different parts.

Aries was associated with the head, Taurus with the neck and throat, Gemini with the shoulders, and so on.

Physicians would use the Zodiac Man to choose the best time for treatment.

The most important consideration was the position of the moon.

For instance, if the moon was currently in the sign of Virgo, the physician should not operate on the patient's stomach.
