Zip line

Three weeks later, they gave me my tourist board license.

Zipline.

They said to me, why do you want to take people up in the air traveling across our valley? No one was doing this.

Yeah.

I really, uh, put my fear of heights to the test, though, on this trip because they had the tower, but then they also had this zip line thing.

It was like a two-person seat.

You start on the ground, and it slings you all the way up to the top.

Like, you ride this zip line all the way up, and you, like, kinda have, like, a vantage point looking out.

You sit there for a second, and then you come back down.

Um, and I was terrified of doing it, but my brother really wanted to go, so I was like, "All right.

Not paragliding.

So I went to Costa Rica for my birthday and I wanted to do one zipline and I ended up doing eight ziplines.

Um, but besides the shows, you can walk around, you can, uh, see all the animal exhibits with your general admission.

But something really, really cool that we have, um, probably the second coolest experience here, is our Screaming Gator Zipline.

Wow.

We opened this up in 2011 as a need, seeing a need for more adventurous stuff here in the park.

in saying that the zipline is accessible as well? Is that right?

It is.

So we built the full zipline, this what we call the Screaming Gator Zipline in 2011, and then in 2016, we built our towers eight and nine, which we call the Gator Gauntlet.

It's a single line, and it is the only handicap accessible zipline here on the eastern coast of the United States.

Absolutely.
