Ziad Rahbani

I had a great band.

I had Ziad Rahbani, Abboud Saadi, Walid Tawil.

It's like the creme de la creme, the top musicians in Lebanon, if you will.

We played some beautiful blues, jazz, different things.

After that, there was nothing left to do.

I mean, you can stay so long in an apartment and play by yourself.

And Ziad Rahbani, who was the son of Fairouz, a very famous international Lebanese singer, said, my mom is going for a tour in the US.

I know you always wanted to go to the US.

The first one is Arabic.

It is a Lebanese songwriter who just passed recently named Ziad Rahbani.

R-A-H-B-A-N-I is how you spell his last name.

Ziad spelled like you think it is.

If we're going to talk about Fayrouz, we're really going to spend a lot of time But yeah, she is with us, but obviously she hasn't really performed for a while right now.

She has four children, including Ziad Rahbani, who I'm a big fan of.

And, you know, obviously she was married to Asli Rahbani, who also worked with her, who passed away in 1986, I believe.

She is truly, truly an icon, someone with so much passion and so much value and so much ethics.
