Beta or Zeta Psi, these two frats that came back, were necessarily going to bring back specific traditions that were uniquely bad.

In the 15 years since I graduated that I've been paying attention, things have ebbed and flowed between which houses are the popular houses, which houses are the houses that women are kind of like, you don't

really want to go there.

Uh, so five fraternities are still under investigation.

Those five are Delta Chi, Delta Kappa Epsilon, Sigma Tau Gamma, um, Zeta Beta Tau, and Zeta Psi.

And, um, the allegations are still being investigated.

There's not much information on what the steps ahead are except that, you know, this is an ongoing investigation.

Um, they've been doing this since the 1920s, and I found evidence from the 1970s onwards of incidents like what happened at Cornell of, um, you know, sexual assault, gang rape of incapacitated and intoxicated women.

One notorious incident of this happened with, uh, uh, the Zeta Psi fraternity at Dartmouth College, where student reporters for the Dartmouth newspaper found newsletters called The Zeetmouth that documented all of the exploitation that the brothers claimed they had had, um, the, the, uh, patented date rape techniques, for instance, um, and the sex that they had coerced out of w- unwilling women.

Oh, gosh.

I mean, it's horrible to hear about this, and it makes you wonder if university officials have tried to abolish frats that have been found to engage in illegal behavior, um, and have had trouble abolishing them, can frats be reformed? Certainly not all fraternities, not all members of fraternities are engaging in this kind of behavior.

The Zeta Psi fraternity is accused of allowing multiple members to drink alcohol and use drugs during dry recruitment events.

Another fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau, received a letter that same day alleging the group hosted an ag- unruly gathering to which the Tucson Police Department and University of Arizona Police Departments responded.

The complaint claims the gathering caused significant traffic, putting UA students and the local community at risk.
