Zaytuna College

Once again, we have a very special guest with us here today.

Dr. Aisha Subhani is the vice president of Zaytuna College and a board certified emergency medicine physician and chairs the Department of Emergency Services at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida.

She earned her medical degree from Nover Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has also been in practice for more than 20 years.

She, for two decades, she's also been the director of the Dean Intensive Foundation and its flagship summer program.

And many of you may have seen her in a number of engagements speaking on behalf of Zaytuna College.

She's been connected with the college for many, many years.

And it gives me great pleasure to have this conversation with her today.

I think in this era now, it's becoming slightly more common where learning deen, learning coming to Zaytuna or Miftah or whichever institution that people are

aiming

to go to, this is a pathway.

But at the same time, people who've studied for a few years, people that can give their evenings.

So we have evening classes for adults that come study knowledge who are professionals and college students.

for themselves and for their home and then of course their extended family and within their own circle they can serve if everyone is able to serve at their own capacity we don't need to have conferences we don't need to have but right now we need it but there's going to come a time that I would hope there's a time where we don't need Miftah we're traveling all over the country Because in every part of the country, there will be scholars and graduates, if not from Miftah, all these institutions like Qalam and Zaytuna and so on and so forth, that they can serve the entire country.

So that Miftah is for goodness.
