Zara Breslin

It keeps us moving over and keeps, it just keeps things taking over nicely.

something i hate doing i genuinely do hate asking but i've been told and reminded and reminded and reminded so we gotta do it so if you wouldn't mind doing that for me it's it is all we ask the show is jam-packed we've got the co-main event i understand is aaron dunahoo a stylish incredible young cork onion boxer um cork boxer should say cork onion is very rugby but a cork boxer aaron dunahoo against an old friend of the show here, a fella I know really well, and I've visited and chatted to quite a bit, Francie Lozoho, that will be a cracking fight, we've also got Cahill Crowley, we've got Kubra Poulias, we've got Conor O'Donovan, we've got Michael Desmond, Liam Kernan, Steve Collins Jr, and Zara Breslin, all in the fights, on the undercard for that show as well, so, There's also, I understand, and I hope I'm not mistaken, there are some, I think, kickboxing fights on that card as well.

So it promises to be an amazing night, a tremendous night.

Martin Horgan always puts together a great show.

We have Aaron O'Donoghue against an old friend of the show here, Francie Lozoho.

We have Conor O'Donoghue, we have Kyle Crowley, we have Keira Pels, we have Michael Desmond, Zara Breslin, Tom Kiernan and we have Steve Collins Jr.

A great line-up and Martin Horgan reliably informs me that he has big plans for a show at some point in 2027. and again as i said to louise earlier on he's one of the few promoters who doesn't talk much he doesn't like to do too much talking so and then pushing on to the back end of october on october 17th we have the conlan sports boxing event up in the ulster hall and of course we have the sheer sports massive night in the hills up in the aurora leisure center october 24th we will feature both of those episodes shows in an episode as we get closer to that time but an incredible pair of Now, regular listeners to this podcast will know and will have heard me say many times, words matter.

And they matter now more than ever.

But, I just think for what Katie done in regards to her sport, what she done on a sporting thing, then you have to bring in all the outside stuff as well.

So, in regards to women's boxing I think it's where it is now in the world because of Katie I think everyone knows that Irish boxing has some really good talent there as well I don't think they're being noticed I look at the likes of you've got like Kelsey Leonard there I think Kelsey Leonard is a little star Zara Breslin a star Sarah Murphy is only young she's only a kid she's only 80 and 19 a lot of learning to do but she's the makings of being a star in boxing Shauna Brown is pushing on she fights next week or the week after in York Hall for some form of a title

and again

it's a couple of weeks after hers I think she again is another one that's looking like a star So there still seems to be a lot of these boxers now in Irish boxing.

Yeah, they're going a little bit below the radar, all right.

But like you say, you had three on your last show.

Zara Breslin for her second fight.

I think Sarah Murphy's fifth fight and Kelsey had her seventh.
