Of course, the interesting thing is that the five and five gets passed, then you have the Jalen Raynor things.

Like, what happens if Jalen Raynor can come back, and, you know, what happens to Connor Moberly or Zane Flores or, uh, Hudson Kerlin or anything like that? But that's a problem for a different day.

Well- Hm ... is, is there anything else wise like Iowa, you know, on, on the side of Iowa, things that we should really be pinning our hat on to- Uh- I mean, obviously stop the run, make the quarterback life miserable for, you know, more than he's gonna do himself.

[laughs] And then-

It won't be,

it won't be the last time I dump on Oklahoma state here, but like the dude was catching passes from Zane Flores last year.

Like he was, he was just dying for someone to get him a pass.

Like the one he got on fourth and 10 in the fourth quarter.

So only beating them by four touchdowns, not that great.

Um, and yeah, I'm not, they have Zane Flores at QB, right? Like I'm just not the biggest believer in Iowa state.

That was last year's last place quarterback.

Man.

I expect that to continue this season.

I think Iowa State's the worst team in the conference.

I know Rocco Beck's not like the GOAT, right? I know he's not like one of the greatest players ever, but going from a guy who didn't really make a ton of mistakes in Rocco Beck to Zane Flores?

Tough, dude.

Would that have changed my opinion on anything? No, not at all, to be quite honest with you.

Again, there was some complacency things in the second half, but the one thing I'd be disappointed by, I guess, is the lack of – minutes the the backups got especially offensively well I think Moberly played what one possession in the second half he got in on that in the first half on that design run play but outside of that we we didn't see Connor Moberly or Zane Flores the entire game pretty much and at that point when Moberly goes in it's it's I guess he had one pass completion but it was hand off hand off get on a dodge it's 100 degrees out get get this game over with So that would be my most disappointing thing because when I look at this entire roster as a whole, the question still remains is what does the depth look like on this football team? And I think that still remains a giant question going into next week.

even though it's a six 30 kick, I anticipate it being hot.

I anticipate it being a very physical four quarter game and you're going to need depth.

The guys wanna play for him, which is a huge thing for him to come in and earn that.

Um, for a lot of these guys not knowing who he is, that's a, a compliment to him to be able to say, "Hey, I wanna play for that guy." And, you know, he had to earn the starting job, just like a guy like Connor Moberly and Zane Flores tried to do, too.

So, um, it's gonna be fun to see him out there and, um, I look forward to, you know, seeing this team embrace being, playing in Jack Trice Stadium.

I know, you know, listening to Coach Rogers speak is one of the things that the team is most excited about doing, is, you know, playing in front of a sold out Jack Trice Stadium.

And honestly, though, too, the backups could come in in the second half for Iowa State, and they could still score.

Like, Zane Flores... has played plenty of football.

He came in at against UT Martin last year after Haas Haney went down in that one and 11 Oklahoma state team still be, I think it was Tennessee Martin 24 to seven.

So I think I was, they can still try to find ways to score if they put Zane in later in the game, or maybe it's Connor.
