think, yeah, I think I've put more time into this than Hades 1, which may be not surprising.

because there's twice as there's twice as much stuff yeah there's twice as much stuff so um but yeah there there is like a lot more resource farming uh there's a lot more meta progression stuff kind of going on it maybe feels a little uh top heavy to start with but i think the more that i played it and the more that i kind of slow burned it and not like trying to beat the game in two days for a podcast uh the more fun that i had with it yeah um but the the biggest change with hades 2 is uh your girl hades in this one you are playing uh millenui who is uh zagrius's uh lesser known sister who like you would think that this is kind of like a contrived thing from uh from greek mythology they're like oh well we need a we need a girl character what can we dig up with but Also, having gotten to one of the main NPCs that you interact with, the end of their kind of main storyline, the more that I'm like, oh, that, I get, okay.

So it's a little more of, like, a somber, melancholy tone to it, but, like, your main player character is less zippy and zappy and more like, oh, I'm kind of the serious one here, and everyone else is, like, this, like... frantic court jester like dancing around and she's like you're not taking this mission seriously kind of thing so uh i think

honestly i appreciate it i'm not a big fan of zagrius uh his whole like tone and i think it's a product of like when the game came out um but but anyway uh i i like that i think the character design is good i think The acting is good.

I enjoy playing this character more than the previous character.
