Zack Pearson

I'm Stephen Johnson.

He's Zack Pearson and Zach.

The big news.

All pro defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons is now a Chicago bear.

We'll be here to break it all down post game and then picking up with the final game before the bye week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Another primetime game Sunday night football that will be happening as well.

So for Zack Pearson, I'm Stephen Johnson.

Thanks for tuning into this episode of the Bear Report.

That is what the Bears gave up.

We will talk with Zack Pearson from Bears Wire, a part of 24-7 Sports, in about 10 minutes or so.

We'll talk with Zach about the trade.

Stories out all over the place that the Bears are very close to finalizing a deal that will keep them in Illinois and most likely at the Arlington Heights location.

Front office stepping up for the Bears.

Yeah, man.

So, Evan, we'll get into this plenty in just a moment with Zack Pearson.

But when the news broke.

I'm going to start us off.

Our good friend Zach Pearson, at Zach underscore Pearson, he said, Bears had the ball for 12 minutes and 21 seconds in the fourth quarter against New England, the third time this season in the seven games that they have had the ball for more than 12 minutes in the fourth quarter.

take that in the third time in just seven games that they have had held the ball for at least 12 minutes, 12 of the 15 minutes in the fourth quarter.

It's insane how it's a dream.

A chaotic win on Sunday, and now just four days later, a matchup that carries just a couple storylines, specifically to the quarterbacks at hand in this matchup, and two 4-2 teams that didn't necessarily look like they might have been 4-2 at this point for the rough starts and the injuries and everything else going on, but everything coming together for the matchup that everybody was anticipating at this point in the regular season.

Yeah, I mean, Caleb Williams playing at a high level, Drake Mays coming off a season in which he was, what, second in the MVP, got to the Super Bowl last year, and he's now playing at a high level.

factoring in that you just you tilt the scales and the bears are right now i believe three point favorites which basically calls this a wash because the home team always gets three points so vegas looking at this as a pure toss-up for what could potentially happen and we'll find out if it will indeed be that close coming down to the wire but that's going to do it For this episode of the Bear Report, we will be back after Thursday night's game, breaking things down and getting ready for a Monday night showdown with the Seattle Seahawks out west.

Will the Bears be 5-2 or will they drop to 4-3? We will soon find out and we'll be here to talk all about it.

Thanks for tuning in.

But that's going to do it for this episode of the Bear Report.

Bears win 31-23, improving to 4-2 on the season with a victory over the Atlanta Falcons down in Georgia.

Until next time, have a great week.

I feel like he's too talented of a receiver and has the, the right type of body frame, like you were saying, to where he should be coming out with these kind of passes.

Yeah, and you know, for some context, right? The Bears actually, and I found out this information during training camp courtesy of our guys, Zach Pearson, they have a new custom-made Jugs machine, which was, I believe, originally designed by some students at Northwestern.

It's got like a fancy high-tech iPad attached to it, and you can control the speed and the angle at which the balls are thrown.

I think, you know, the...
