Zach Zenner

I know I don't, but I keep trying to think of maybe joke costumes to reference the Lions.

Like, where's my Zach Zenner costume is what I'm going to go as.

I know Zach.

He lives here.

And I have a good feeling about this week, even still, because I think people forget the type of receivers that Stafford had to throw to in Detroit.

Everyone remembers the Golden Tates of the world and the you know, Kenny Galladay's and the Calvin Johnson's, but they don't remember when he was throwing to guys like Danny Amendola and Zach Zenner.

By the way, Danny Amendola late in his career, like at the end of his career, Zach Zenner and guys like that.

How about Adrian Peterson his last year in the season when he was a total shell of himself? That is who Matthew Stafford had to throw to at the end of his career with the Lions.

So say what you will.

I did.

When Zach asked him about the passing game, he sounded kind of pissed off.

He's like, Oh, we

got to throw the ball and catch the ball.

We can fix this or that or whatever.

There are very few athletes in the country who have Chase's abilities.

But at some point, doesn't production have to matter? You know, I mean, I remember having a conversation with Zach Zenner a couple of years ago because he was working as an agent at the time.

I don't know if he still is.

It's one thing when back in Eiseness' first tenure, actually second tenure because this is his third as offensive coordinator.

It's like, OK, you have Zach Zenner and a bunch of other guys who are kind of just guys.

You have Dallas Goddard and Jake Winneke and then a bunch of other sort of just guys.

So it was pretty obvious what your game plan was going to be.

Get the ball to Dallas Goddard.

Get the ball to Zach Zenner.

Well, now every position group, running back, wide receiver, tight end, you have dudes.

You have dudes at all those spots.

Yeah, but I mean, we could do a lot better at return.

He's, he's fine, but if he was a better athlete, these returns would be even better and, you know, it's, he's Zach Zenner at this point, so you know, just widely heralded and doesn't really do much.

Um, so we, we can...

Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry for him.

Um-

And we got Zach Zenner, baby.

And we got Zach Zenner coming on very soon.

But first, tell us about Thrive.

I'll tell you about Thrive.

[sniffs] What up, though? Welcome back to Whatever It's Live from the Playing Field Studios in downtown Royal Oak.

I'm EZ DuMaubee, I got Spin Mo Rex.

We are also joined by, some may say, a legendary Detroit Lions running back, Zach Zenner.
