Because the other big piece of news, Zach Wood, back to practice this week.

Looks like he's going to be ready to go.

He's been on injured reserve the past four weeks.

And that's good because Cal Adamaitis, I've heard his name said on the broadcast too many times.

I was talking to someone today.

I was like, how many times has Zach Wood had a penalty? In the last two years.

Because it feels like that number is probably equal to the number that Cal Adamaitis had over the last two weeks.

The Saints waived Jayden Price, who had a fumble in the opening second half kickoff.

Uh, they also waived Cal Adonitis, who they might just be on path of getting Zach Wood back.

He's missed his four games now, and because he went on right before the Baltimore Ravens game, so Ravens, Raiders, Falcons, uh, Vikings, he should be eligible to return.

But they did waive Cal Ado- Adonitis, who had that false start penalty on the fourth and long.

So I'm going to make a check.

How many players on IR? Now, you have Kelvin Banks, Jordan Tyson, Brian Brzee, Ty Chandler, Travis Achan, David Long, Maliki Matoval, Dylan Radins, Lorenzo Stiles, Zach Wood.

So that's 11 or 12.

My point is, man, not only are they banged up for this week, I mean, they've got quite a few guys on injured reserve with a chance.

So he's out in at least four weeks.

Who knows how long with Kelvin Banks? Zach Wood, your long snapper.

I mean, you need your long snapper.

But we have not had the Dome in, I'd say, three years probably.

So yeah, they kind of had to adjust to the right-hander coming in.

Okay.

A couple other roster moves.

Scott Daly, the long snapper they signed to the practice squad after Zach Wood's injury, he is now gone.

He signed with the Chicago Bears.

to their active roster.

So the Saints had the option to try to sign him to their active roster.

But keep in mind, The Saints roster opportunity, Scott Daly's opportunity on the Saints, has a ticking clock on it.

He is only going to be the long snapper until Zach Wood returns.

Now, Chicago, on the other hand, that's where he was last year.

Probably would've brought him up at a certain point, but, you know, trying to sign a guy, save your elevations, use some elevations on the long snapper, but then Chicago's long snapper situation falls apart.

Well, why didn't they keep him? Well, I think Daly made the choice to leave because he probably has more of a chance of keeping a job in Chicago than just holding a spot until Zach Wood comes back.

So, uh, Kaladamadis, I think is, is, is how you say the name, i- is the new guy, was with Miami.

He's here now.

He's 28, you know.

We'll see how it goes.

Daly's actually older than, than Zach Wood, so it just didn't make sense for him to stick around.

It made sense for him to leave.

I mean, this team is legit, and I'm not quite right to proclaim them as back, but man, they look like they may be the flashiest home team.

Really? You know, there's a lot of news, a lot of noise coming out of the Saints in this game, and they're saying because Zach Wood's not going to play.

And he's their long snapper.

He's been with the team for 10 seasons.
