Coming off a concussion, really? Um, Zach Sieler, Josh Uche, Jordan Phillips, Malik Herring.

Yeah.

Like I, I mean, genuinely, who?

Uh, uh, now other people can get more comfortable in the scheme.

Maybe Kenneth Grant comes back and he plays a, a better game with, with Zeke Big, I mean, with, um, with, with Zach, Zach Sieler.

Um, uh, that's basically all the hope that I could give you.

Um, they just-

Uh, we mentioned Kenneth Grant being on injured reserve in segment one and, and I think the, where you felt that was maybe not necessarily Kenneth Grant not being on the field, but, uh, the other players having to play some more of the congested interior stuff that kind of exposes them to double teams.

And Zach Sieler's a veteran player who's done so much good on-the-field work for the Dolphins but, uh, really struggled against Las Vegas and was catching a lot of double teams and getting moved off the point of attack.

And, uh, Zeke Biggers is a guy from, who was a seventh round drif- draft pick from the year before who's a second-year player who cut a bunch of weight to play in a 4I and play over offensive tackles, and now he's playing the A gaps because you don't have Kenneth Grant and you gotta rotate somebody with your t- your starter at nose tackle in Jordan Phillips.

Uh, so I, I think the depth, it's that depth element of when you get into the rotation, do you have enough guys and, or does the musical chairs kick guys to spots where maybe they're not best suited to play? And they have to get blo- off of blocks a lot better on the line of scrimmage than what they did against Las Vegas if they wanna have any chance of slowing down the running attack, which obviously we saw just the raw numbers that they put on, uh, Los Angeles last week.

We talked about this on the, the squad show that ran not that long ago this afternoon, but the constant theme for things that need to be addressed and the things that need to get better was block deconstruction.

Uh, Robert Beal, Malik Herring, Zach Sieler, even Zeke Biggers.

Zeke Biggers got some opportunities with no Kenneth Grant in this game to play closer to the, the true heart of the, the defensive interior, playing in the A gaps a little bit more.

And I thought his frame kind of showed up there because it was a big buy.

Like, if you were on the field for a defensive play and the play happened, but there was a penalty, I'll still grade your execution on that play.

I just, so I quantify them as opportunities as compared to officially logged snaps.

We got a lot more to get to on the defensive side of the ball, including talking about, uh, Zach Sieler, who, uh, has had many, many better games than what he played against Las Vegas.
