I'm very confused by the like sort of societal reaction to this case.

Well, that's the so that's what's going forward to trial now is that retaliation piece.

So there are two or sorry, three claims that are moving forward.

It's the retaliation in part.

it's breach of contract and it's breach of implied covenant.

So the last, the case has really been reduced to a contract dispute and whether or not the studio violated their contract by retaliating against her.

That's where it was like it was deceptive.

He doesn't have to show up.

I mean, I just don't know what any of these cast members can bring.

If toxic workplace and harassment were still on the table, sure.

But I mean, at this point, the three things that she needs is, one, she has to prove that she documented and reported this alleged harassment.

right that there was something that they retaliated against her for two she has to prove that the retaliation is real and that and that's what the jury will have to decide is was there real retaliation or was this just like a crisis pr strategy as his team is arguing and three they have to prove that there's a direct link between her complaints and the retaliation, which damaged her reputation.

Like, it's an uphill battle.

And from what we've seen, the closest we have to her reporting sexual harassment is her conversation with Angie Giannetti, who at this point has testified in her deposition and said that there was no formal complaint.

He's still got these people just behind him.

I think it depends on

the actual crime and what your probation terms are.

Whereas her, she can argue that work takes her into different states.

But so ABC, yes, was aware of all this.

But I think her team went to ABC and was like, she's on probation.

She hasn't done anything the last two and a half years.
