Speaking Sunday at a youth event for her right-wing party, Meloni said her government will propose to limit non-Italian students to 30% of each class, arguing that when they become the majority, quote, "That's not integration anymore, that's abandonment." She also announced plans to ban face coverings like the burka in schools, saying, quote, "Equality between men and women is non-negotiable." Both proposals will head to parliament following a sign-off from Meloni's cabinet, and the classroom cap would be the first of its kind in Europe if adopted.

The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement notified Trinidad Mayor Dennis Hawes on September 9th that the city's license to operate its own police department was being revoked.

Investigators determined that the department, quote, "Failed to meet minimum standards," and, quote, "Was unable to provide evidence that the agency provides public benefit to the community." The decision comes after the five-officer department became the center of a national controversy in May when officers arrested Jennifer Combs and jailed her overnight over a Facebook post concerning Trinidad's water supply.

Federal agents have arrested a 21-year-old Pennsylvania man they say was preparing to carry out an attack for ISIS.

Prosecutors say Jonathan Cramer was observed outside a sporting goods store north of Pittsburgh on September 12th, carrying a rifle, five magazines, and 190 rounds of ammunition he'd bought earlier that day.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and State Attorney General Letitia James are suing to block a new Trump administration rule to further restrict foreigners from receiving visas or green cards if they are on welfare.

The new rule, which takes effect Friday, is intended to deny legal status to foreigners who are unlikely to be self-sufficient and likely to be, quote, "dependent on taxpayer-funded government benefits," the Trump administration said.

The one-year memorial for Charlie Kirk is set to take place tomorrow at Utah Valley University, where he was assassinated last September, but is now facing an organized protest by left-wing students.

Turning Point USA is spearheading the event, but it is facing opposition from students who object to the university hosting the memorial and canceling classes for the day.

Jamaica formally petitioned King Charles III on Monday for essentially reparations over the slave trade.
