Zach Blair

I was looking at the credits and stuff, and I saw that you guys had some additional guests on some of the songs.

I just want to touch on, well, for starters, it's Zach Blair.

of Rise Against, Only Crime and War, and then Matt Hensley of the A100s and Flog of Mali.

And they're doing guitar work and accordion work on various, each different songs.

Yeah, so, I mean, we always love bringing in friends to do anything.

One thing, like I've talked about a little bit in interviews, but people still don't really know.

that when we've recorded our other albums in los angeles with the producer ted hutt who is amazing and we love and he's a good friend of ours um he's always brought in uh mark orel who was uh people will probably remember him from the cover of uh blackout the dropkick murphy's record he used to play guitar on the dropkick movies he's the guy who looked like billy joe armstrong he used to play in that band in the 90s and early 2000s and mark has been a collaborative friend of this band for years and he's been on like all of our records we made with Ted and he's always singing background vocals or playing piano or like acoustic guitar and he's always just like helping vocal arrangements and things and um so we're super used to being to having collaborators so that wasn't weird for us but in this instance um Zach Blair is an old friend of mine and I love him to death and he's like the sweetest guy in rock and roll And when we first talked about working with Bill Stevenson on this record, him and Bill have made a ton of records together, and they're good friends.

And so I immediately texted Zach and was like, hey, we're making a record with Bill.
