Just a weird 60s film, if you have not had a chance to see it.

like I'm thinking immediately of Zabriskie Point right like Antonioni comes off blow up this huge acclaimed Oscar nominations people take him seriously America takes him seriously rather for the first time and He can do whatever he wants.

He's got a three-picture deal with Ponty in the States, and he makes a movie about hippies and Black Panthers.

That takes four years, is almost incomprehensible to the mass audience.

So,

yeah, I don't know what Antonioni would think about that.

I do think it's kind of relevant that after blow up exploded and Zabriskie point fizzled, he made the passenger, which is just about three people in a house or motel or house or room, wherever he is.

It's just about Nicholson and whoever he's talking to.

It's called

Zabriskie Point.

Pretty Maids All in a Row is a rich, perverse little movie that represents Roger Vadim's sly dig at American morals and American youth.

In its less ambitious way, Maid's is a truer, more natural depiction of its subject than Antonioni's Zabriskie Point.

In an amazingly short time, Vadim has picked up the idiom and the feel of America.

He depicts something as homegrown as a football game, a spectacle that betrays the foreign hand at its helm only by the fact that after every touchdown, the try for the extra point is shown.
