YYZ

I had two front row seats, front row center, in my cart, right where I wanted to be.

I was so close I could count the beads of sweat on the Geddy Lee wannabes brow between Tom Sawyer and YYZ.

I was that close.

And then, their website broke me.

So I was trying to come up with creative.

They have a song called YYZ, not YYZ.

Anybody listening in the States? YYZ.

And it's an, I don't know, seven or eight minute instrumental.

And the beginning, if you listen to it, Neil Peart, their drummer, was flying from X to Y.

And he heard the Morse code of the airport at Pearson.

And he freaking created a song, an intro of the song based on Morse code.

So if you ever, anybody listening, look up YYZ or YYZ if that helps you.

Uh, d- uh, uh, uh, a- anybody else who was out there at Rush last night, if you missed it, or you were in the house, I hope you enjoyed.

Tony, I put a little clip of YYZ in the bookmarks.

Mm-hmm.

We can show that-

Oh, Dom, can you play that, Dom?

Right on the side of the stage.

This is just a little snippet of YYZ last night.

This is in the second set.

[laughs]

YYZ, is that what that one is called?

Yeah.

Z.

amazed.

So YYZ is every show, right? Yep.

YYZ is amazing.

And Anthem.

Anthem.

I s- I, Zed.

Y-Y-Zed.

When you land at YYZ-

Yes

That's some good stuff right there.

All right, we're bringing it down to the last song for this set, and, uh, it is by far one of my favorite all-time songs with bass in it, and it's YYZ by Rush.

There ain't nobody that plays the bass guitar like Geddy Lee does.

So here we go.

We're gonna close it out with YYZ.

Thanks for tuning in, everybody.

[rock music] That's it.

Oh, okay.

Um, my Guitar Hero one is YYZ, uh, by Rush.

Uh, all right.

I mean...
